Our sourdough journey begins
I started baking sourdough because I fell in love with the process of making something homemade from scratch and sharing it with the people I love. What started as something I enjoyed making in my own kitchen turned into Mama Valdez Bakes! Every loaf is handcrafted in small batches, baked fresh, and made with lots of love. I also love creating fun, flavorful loaves that you won’t find in a typical bakery. From classic plain to jalapeño cheddar and cheesy pepperoni, there’s always something delicious coming out of the Mama Valdez kitchen! 🍞💕

Mama Valdez Bakes started from a simple love of homemade baking, family, and bringing people together around good food. What began in my own kitchen grew into a small business where I get to share something I truly love with my community. At Mama Valdez Bakes, I believe the best food is made with time, care, and a whole lot of love. Every sourdough loaf and homemade treat is handcrafted in small batches and baked fresh. Family is at the heart of everything I do. Being a mom and spending time in the kitchen are two of my favorite things, and I love creating recipes that feel homemade, comforting, and special. My passion is always trying new flavors, learning new recipes, and making delicious baked goods that bring a little happiness to someone’s day. 💕🍞
